Gears Of Agony: Prototype Release (and closure)

Hallo! I've been working the last week to finish the mechanics of gears of agony, and while I'm proud of the design mechanically, developing the game was a messy work. I had to cut out some features on this prototype like one of the characters.
Besides that, and is quite clear, there are still no textures (except one of the characters which was used to test blender to godot texture exports), and so with sounds (an overwhelming amount of 1 sound of a door being hit).
But Velt, why no sounds and textures? (again)
This is a personal decision on not to add these to the game, even if they clearly would improve playing experience. I feel like texture work and sound design would be better fitting for the complete iteration of the game which I will shortly start working on. I want to define an actual art direction and not add textures/sounds for the sake of adding them.
Damn Veltar, so why releasing this anyways and not just focus on the new build?
It's more of a thing for me to see what works, how I've should implement certain things and what else can I add/change, instead of going trough all that process in the new project. To be frank tho, I just felt the need to do it too! I've said there was going to be updates after I submitted to the jam, and even though is not the full finished polished + extras game that I originally planned, I learned a lot on how to actually work on that version.
So that's all! Enjoy this short beta prototype made with duct tape, hope and love. I'll be shortly changing the main page description for a clearer how to play.
